The Old Time Cottage is fully self-contained. Everything is supplied - linen, towels, cooking utensils etc.
The cottage will sleep up to five adults.
There is a double bedroom, another room with two single beds and a sleepout with another single bed. All beds are extremely comfortable.
There is also a kitchen, dining room, lounge, inside toilet and shower, laundry with washing machine.
All rooms are air-conditioned and there is an airy front verandah. We have tried to leave the cottage as authentic as possible but your comfort is the main priority.
There is a lot of old time memorabilia scattered about the cottage. The cottage is within walking distance of the main street, though we don't recommend walking during the summer months (A taxi is available via freephone in the cottage).

LocalityLongreach is a fully serviced inland town of approximately 4000 people. Quite large by western Queensland standards and by far the largest in the area.
It is accessible by road, rail and air.
Roads from the main centres of Brisbane, Rockhampton and Mount Isa are all bitumen and all-weather roads.
The comfortable train, The Spirit of the Outback, leaves Brisbane via Rockhampton twice weekly and returns the following day. It's a relaxing 24 hour trip allowing you to take in the whole countryside during your journey.
There is a daily air service to and from Brisbane. Flights to and from Townsville are also available.
There is a daily bus service to and from Brisbane which continues on to Mount Isa if you wish to explore the west further. A bus service operates between Rockhampton several times a week linking the Central Coast to the Central West. Outback AttractionsLongreach is a very laid back town with many tourist attractions for young and old alike.
