Holiday house

Montrose House is a beautiful elegant home situated on the hill overlooking the city of Launceston and the Tamar River. Just 5 minutes drive to the city centre where you can enjoy the award winning restaurants and do some leisurely shopping in this historical town. Take a 15 - 20 minutes walk to the famous cataract gorge with the worlds longest single span chair lift. 5 minutes drive to hang gliding, horse riding, walking tracks. This home would be the ideal get-away for family get togethers. The home features 4 bedrooms, 3 upstairs with queen beds and 1 downstairs with double bed. There are 3 bathrooms, sauna and spa. The family room features a large plasma screen for movie watching and wii games, a log fire and heat pump. The separate elegant lounge room features comfortable lounge suites, piano, off peak electric log fire. Once you arrive, you won't want to leave! Just a short drive to the winery's. Launceston is central to Tasmania and is an excellent place to base yourself for day trips to some of the world heritage areas.

7 Minutes drive to the AFL games in Invermay. Close to cafe and supermarket. 10 minutes walk to bus stop, cafe and supermarket.
