The Art House is a large home which can accommodate up to 4 couples. The main area of the house has an open plan lounge/dining/kitchen with a bedroom adjacent, walk-in robe and ensuite.

The kitchen is fully-equipped with all the modern conveniences such as dishwasher and most staples supplied (coffee, tea, jam, butter, oil, sugar). The flat screen high HD TV has free-to-air satellite, with CD & DVD library supplied.

The open-plan area leads to a lovely covered deck, where you can sit on the comfortable California chairs to drink your wine and listen to the river, watch the birds or just read a good book.

For people or families travelling together there is another large ground floor bedroom, with a full bathroom/laundry. Quite private from the main living area.

Each bed has quality linen and doonas, heating, blankets and fat, fluffy towels. Eight steps up is a loft with a double bed and portable TV for extra visitors.

An art studio is available on the top floor which contains a futon which can accommodate another couple if required.

We are family-friendly however the house has many decks on the upper and lower floors which could be very hazardous for toddlers. Also open internal steps leading to the loft and studio make it hazardous for children under 10 years old.

The house has ducted a/c and heating to make your stay pleasant with the flick of a switch. A slow combustion fire can be utilised in the family room for a romantic, cosy atmosphere.

There is a double garage, Gas BBQ, 2 bikes to ride, tennis rackets, wood supplied ... so come and enjoy!

Pets are permitted (conditions apply)... the property is not fully fenced and is adjacent to a large park and the river.

Explore the Barrington Tops wilderness area, Gloucester Tops or go to the coast and visit Forster/Tuncurry, all within 90 minute drive from the Art House.

Horse-riding, canoeing, golf, bicycling, bush-walking, skydiving, gliding, cafes, clubs and restaurants are all available locally.

Trout and bass fishermen enjoy a trip to the Tops to try their luck or they can just drop a line in the Gloucester River running through our back yard.
Goldmine tours, 4WD tours, Tugralong Farm and Goat Farm tours are available, with produce for sale.

Our house is called the Gloucester Art House because I have a huge studio from which to paint. So for the artistically inclined there is a studio for your use if you feel the creative urge.
